Dear Visitor

FOGS Book Fair Competition

Well done to all of the children who took part in FOGS Book Fair competition. There were lots of fantastic entries and I had the unenviable job of choosing 5 winners from across the school. The lucky winners who receive a £5 Scholastic book voucher are Harry (Tabby McTat), Ivy (Cinderella), William (Dogman), Heath (Fantastic Mr Fox) and Nella (The Wizard Of Oz). Expect to see all entries on display in our library very soon!

Books will be on sale (along with lots of other things!) at Sunday's Christmas Gitf & Craft Fair.

Pine Class Trip

Our Year 3 and 4 children enjoyed a great trip to Leicester to support their current Global Curriculum theme of Egypt. Pupils visited a mosque and met the Imam who taught them about the Islamic faith and its religious customs. They also visited a museum for an amazing, hands-on Ancient Egyptian workshop. The children behaved impeccably and were a credit to the school.

New Governors

I am delighted to report that the school has appointed two new governors. Ellie O'Callaghan was successful in the recent parent governor election and Sean Maher has agreed to join us as a co-opted governor. The school is very much looking forward to welcoming both as part of our strategic governance team. Many thanks to everyone who engaged with the election process.
