Dear Visitor

SIAMS Inspection Report

I am delighted to share our SIAMS Inspection Report with you. The report captures the many strengths of our school and I would strongly recommend that you spend some time reading the outcomes. I have included some of my favourite quotes from the report below. Many thanks for your continued support in making our school a very special place.

_________________________________________________________

The school 'takes exceptional care to meet individuals' needs, enabling the school community to thrive' and it is a place where 'pupils develop a love for learning'.

The culture of the school is one where 'pupils are known individually and cherished.'

The Global Curriculum is described as 'unique and ambitious' and 'inspires pupils to think about the world beyond themselves. Making a difference through action is woven into the fabric of the school' and this 'empowers pupils to be confident change-makers in the world.'

The inspector described 'a nurturing envrionment where pupils and adults flourish'.

Engagement Week!

Following the wonderful findings of the SIAMS Inspection, I have shared below some images from Engagement Week where children have exemplified so many of the positive aspects highlighted in the report. We have begun our new Global Curriculum themes and pupils returned from half term to find brand new learning environments and have spent this first week immersed in learning - a gondola in Venice, London buses, marmalade sandwiches, Greek salads and music, a drumming workshop and investigating suitcases from The Titanic - it has been a busy but brilliant week!

Please join us in church on Thursday 19th March at 1.30pm for our Easter Service. Everyone is welcome.

World Book Day

Governing Body

Ellie O'Callaghan resigned from her role as parent governor shortly before February half-term. Sean Maher moves into the vacant parent governor position which keeps our governing body at capacity.
