Atomic Science Club Returns

Atomic Tom visited school this week to amaze all of the children in Key Stage 1 and 2 with another of his brilliant experiments (your child may have returned home this week telling you about how the miracle of flight was demonstrated with a leaf blower and a toilet roll). Atomic Science is back with another club - a mixture of old favourites and brand new content!

The 5 week course runs each week from Monday 21st September - 3.30-4.30pm and is open to children from Year 1 to Year 6. To book your child's place, use this direct link to our school booking page.

‍Values Champions

The school culture is heavily influenced by its own set of six core values - respect, appreciation, honesty, forgiveness, courage and kindness - which are modelled through the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).

One way of bringing this into the spotlight is to celebrate brilliant examples of pupils exemplifying  our school values. Our Values Champions are celebrated in Achievers' Assembly which takes place on Friday morning, with children recognised for all manner of things from a simple act of kindness to the remarkable fundraising effort you can see below! Well done Heath for becoming our first Values Champion of the academic year!

School staff are always on the lookout in school for potential Values Champions but we would also like to hear about great examples from outside of school, so please let us know of any worthy acts!

‍Caterlink

Ness, our wonderful cook, has made the decision to step away from her role with Caterlink. Although employed by Caterlink, Ness has always been considered by all pupils and staff to be a much loved member of 'our' team.

Caterlink has advertised the role (the advert link is here) and is managing the provision in the meantime with it's 'mobile' team.
