  Hello Visitor,

Bikeability: Level 1

Children in Year 3/4 will today bring home letters inviting them to participate in Bikeability training on Friday 20th May. Full information is provided in the letter which also includes a consent form. The training is organised through the Local Authority and is heavily subsidised. This means that the cost for individual participants is £5 which should be paid via ParentPay.

The training is not mandatory and is not suitable for non-riders. Places on the training are limited and will be allocated on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. Children will need a fully operational bike (a useful checklist is included with the letter) and a helmet, both of which will need to be brought to school on the morning of the training and collected at the end of the day.

The deadline for returning your consent form is Thursday 31st March. You can consent via email without completing the form as long as you provide all of the requested information.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. A PDF of the letter is also included here.

Our aim is to expand this provision to other year groups early in the next academic year.
